‘GODI’ SADARAN NAHI ASAADHARAN!

This ‘Godi Banna Sadarana Maikattu’ is not ordinary one. It is extra ordinary. It is a Lost and Found theory precisely. The team of Pushkar Films and director Hemanth Rao joint producers were lost in making this GBMS and they are now found in the success boat. The first three days collection is impeccably good. Despite of a few releases and challenging star Darshan ‘Jaggu Daada’ release, the film GBSM is mounting up in theatres. It was 100 theatres in the first week. For the second week, it is up by sixty theatres shows the growth, value and people liking for this film.

A few of the memories rolled out at a discussion type of media meet on Tuesday afternoon at Citadel Hotel. The gem of an actor Ananthnag (like what www.chitratara.com had told – a national award to Ananthji must – nearly 125 people vouched for such an award to his role), producer Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah main producer, debutants Hemanth Rao as director, Nandakishore cameraman, music director Charan Raj were present with two lovely looking actors Rakshit Shetty and Shruthi Hariharan.

For Ananthnag the nation’s one of the best actors it was really lost and found. He lost this role 45 years ago and found it at his 68th year in life. When Ananthji was 25, he asked his director on stage Sathyadev Dubey to take up ‘Death of a Salesman’ play of Arthur Miller that had a power role like this one. The role was played by Willy Loman. It was 1949 play – in 1985 the film was made. It is about a man not able to accept the change in him. It was Dubey who turned down the suggestion of 25 years young Ananthnag in 1985. The aspiration of Ananthnag fulfilled in 2016.

Ananthnag for the first had clipped reviews of 12 newspapers and made a file. This is what he did not get in Beladingala Baale that was widely appreciated.

After knowing the script and coming to sets Ananthnag was perplexed on a few occasions. The lighting was not done, songs were included and he wondered how it could be. Finally he realized that he is wrong and director Hemanth Rao is right.

According to Hemanth Rao this film has nothing to do with ‘Asthu’ a Marathi cinema. He had been to meet the maker to show this film and get his opinion. Rao was happy when Mohan Agase said this Kannada film is nowhere related to Asthu.

Producer Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah said he was co producer in the beginning and Hemanth Rao was main producer. Later it reversed. He invested Rs.2.5 crores on this project.

Rakshit Shetty was asked to be partner in production but not accepting is advantage today for producer. That is because film is doing fine in the box office. There is nothing like creativity getting satisfaction he disclosed in his address.

Going to institute to learn acting is not necessary when an actor like Ananth Nag and Achyuth Kumar are around the sets. We can see and learn felt Vasishta N Simha.

It has been a wonderful film in my career critical review for good is what this film earned. Cameraman Nandakishore said he was like student of learning holding the camera.

Charan Raj was speechless with the response he got for his songs.
